Renewal must be RECEIVED by the Board (postmarks not accepted) by 5:00pm on the last business day of the birth month, or the certificate is automatically suspended ($50 late fee to reactivate; failure to renew within 3 months of suspension causes the certificate to expire). An individual/sole-proprietorship firm registration rides on this same personal cycle. CPE reporting period is defined identically to the registration period itself -- no separate CE deadline from the renewal deadline.
