Effective January 1, 2020: 40 hours of CPE every calendar year a license is held, minimum 2 hours ethics. Rule (1)(A) preserves the pre-2020 120-hours/3-year/6-ethics-hours standard as historical context only -- the current, governing requirement is (1)(B). Since 2021, licensees in good standing get a grace period through March 1 to cure a prior calendar year's CPE shortage on written application to the board (rule (1)(C)).
